We are seeking a proactive and mobile Security Patrolling Officer to safeguard our facilities through flexible and strategic patrols. The role involves monitoring multiple zones or sites, ensuring security policies are enforced, and providing quick responses to incidents across designated areas. The ideal candidate is observant, physically fit, and able to adapt to changing locations and schedules.
Conduct systematic and random mobile patrols across multiple sites or assigned zones.
Check perimeter security, doors, windows, gates, and sensitive areas for signs of unauthorized access or irregularities.
Provide a visible deterrent by patrolling on foot or by vehicle (if applicable).
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, alarms, or suspicious behavior.
Assist in crowd control or escort duties as required.
Communicate and coordinate with permanent officers and site supervisors.
Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handover documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and client-specific instructions.
Report hazards, maintenance issues, or potential risks discovered during patrols.
Maintain communication through radios or mobile devices throughout the shift.
Proven experience in a security patrol or roving officer role preferred.
Valid CLASS 3 Driving Licence
Ability to operate basic security equipment (radios, flashlights, CCTV, etc.).
Physically fit and able to walk, stand, or drive for long periods.
Strong situational awareness and observational skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing site demands.
Flexible to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
