Job summary

Rapsys Technologies Pte Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer (Tenable VMS) to strengthen our security posture. You will administer on-prem Tenable VMS, implement scans, and generate reports to support incident response and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on Tenable VMS experience, working on-site with customer teams, and a solid grounding in security best practices, monitoring, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operational tasks in administration and support of on-premise Tenable VMS solutions located at customer sites.
• Meet or exceed operational SLA, incident, problem, service request, patching and vulnerability management.
• Develop and update VMS scan jobs and reports.
• Onboard and offboard assets to VMS and troubleshoot onboarding issues.
• Create and update procedures and documentation for operations per customer requirements.

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Platform Engineer with expertise in Tenable VMS to enhance our security posture. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, experience with vulnerability management tools, and the ability to implement effective solutions that protect our systems and data.

Role: Cybersecurity Platform Engineer (Tenable VMS)

Job Scope

• Perform routine operational tasks in administration and support of on-premise Tenable VMS solutions located at customer sites, in accordance with the established policies, procedures and processes
• Work with other team members and customer’s teams to meet or exceed operational SLA, especially on incident, problem, service request, patching and vulnerability management
• Develop and update VMS scan jobs
• Perform scheduled VMS scans
• Develop and update VMS reports
• Onboard and offboard assets to VMS solutions, troubleshoot and resolve asset onboarding issues with the asset owners
• Develop and continually update procedures, processes and documentation for operations in accordance with customer requirements, government regulations, industry standards and product best practices.
• Prepare operational reports (regular and ad-hoc) accurately and timely.
• Comply with all service management processes and requirements
• Execute Service Requests submitted by the customer within the agreed timeline
• Track operational metrics
• Implement mitigations on identified risks
• Remediate security findings from security assessments and audits
• Respond to system alerts and incident reported by customer after office hours
• Perform system maintenance activities after office hours
• Provide standby support after office hours

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or a related discipline
• Two or more years of professional work experience in operational management or support of Tenable VMS solutions in large enterprises and MNCs.
• Good knowledge of common security solutions and their integration with external systems and common services (DNS, Domain Controller, NTP, Log Management, System Monitoring, Backup, VMS, 2FA, etc)
• Able to work in customer premises
• Able to perform system maintenance activities after office hours
• Able to provide standby support after office hours
