Job summary

Kerry Consulting partners with a leading financial services organisation in Asia to appoint a Security Operations Lead in Singapore. This newly created leadership role sits in a lean team and offers the chance to shape security operations, from monitoring to incident response, with significant influence on how the function evolves.

Reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity, you will own the Security Operations pillar while remaining hands-on.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of security operations experience in a regulated environment.
• Proactive, self-directed mindset with ability to operate in ambiguity.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience building/improving security operations, managing external providers.
• Hands-on in Microsoft security ecosystem (Sentinel, Defender XDR, Entra ID, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Own the Security Operations pillar and lead as a hands-on working lead.
• Oversee monitoring, detection, threat intelligence and vulnerability management.
• Manage outsourced SOC and develop internal analyst capabilities.
• Provide operational and technical support during major incidents.
• Collaborate with incident response, infrastructure, compliance and senior stakeholders.
