Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to safeguard systems and data in a Singapore office-based role. You will manage cybersecurity infrastructure, perform incident response, and drive automation and AI-assisted security improvements across the technology stack.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, vulnerability management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to strengthen security controls and compliance in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or a related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and security tool management.
• Experience with CyberArk PAM, Imperva DAM, Tripwire FIM, Trellix DLP is preferred.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management tools (Nessus, Tenable).
• Understanding of enterprise security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
• Strong incident response and security operations experience with AI/automation familiarity.
• Excellent communication for stakeholder engagement and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute security infrastructure projects including CIS hardening and platform migrations.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, respond to threats, and apply patches.
• Support system upgrades across multiple platforms with minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for endpoint security tool deployments and updates.
• Maintain compliance through hardening, configuration management, and policy enforcement.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and cloud security tool architecture.
• Document procedures and provide knowledge transfer to the support team.
• Respond to security incidents and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows.
