Job summary

Primo Guards Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at our Tuas West Region facility. You will be on the frontline of our security operations, ensuring the protection of assets, personnel, and premises through professional measures.

The role requires 1 year of security experience, a valid Security Industry Licence, and the ability to work extended shifts. We offer training, career progression, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Security Officer or in a similar security role.
• Valid Security Industry Licence.
• High level of physical fitness and ability to remain alert during extended shifts.
• Strong observational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional demeanour with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Sound knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
• First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Reliable transportation to the Tuas South Region.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs being stationed at reception counter.
• Operate security systems, including CCTV surveillance equipment and alarm systems, ensuring all monitoring equipment is functioning correctly.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols and procedures.
• Conduct thorough searches and inspections of premises, packages, and individuals as required by security protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate security reports and incident documentation.
• Provide professional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff whilst maintaining security standards.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Ensure compliance with all security regulations, company policies, and relevant legislation.
• Maintain physical security of restricted areas and sensitive equipment.
