Job summary

Canadian International School PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Security Officer to protect staff, students, parents and visitors while safeguarding CIS property. You will monitor CCTV and alarms, patrol premises, and respond to incidents in a professional manner.

The role requires a valid PLRD Security Officer licence, at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Officer licence under PLRD.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Firm, tactful, observant, alert and maintains a pleasant disposition when handling visitors and/or stakeholders.
• Able to do shift work on a rotational basis: 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am, including weekend & public holiday.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to all security SOPs and preventive measures at all times.
• Perform day to day operational duties including patrol, traffic control and static duties such as security checks and visitor registration.
• Monitor security systems including the CCTV, Fire Alarm etc in the designated post.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior of visitors, unauthorized removal of CIS property, criminal acts (e.g. theft or misconduct etc), safety or fire hazards, loss or accidents that could put CIS at risk.
• Enforce gate or school closure upon receiving instructions in the event of an evacuation or emergency.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Senior Security Executive, Security Supervisor and/or Head of Facilities.

Gross Salary : $2,500 - $3,000
