Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an engineer to own end-to-end security and observability for a container-based private cloud platform. You will lead architectural research, tool evaluation, and production deployment spanning telemetry, detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.

You will be the technical owner of the observability and security stack, partnering with platform engineering, security operations, and SRE teams to deliver a unified telemetry-first architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Certifications in Kubernetes, Linux administration, or cloud security are a plus.
• 5+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or security engineering roles.
• Experience with telemetry, log analytics, and detection rule writing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and research tools for licence compliance and governance.
• Design unified telemetry pipelines for SRE observability and security operations.
• Build and operate observability and security monitoring stacks in a containerized platform.
• Deploy CI pipeline security scanning and image registry security controls.
• Define runbooks and governance for vendor-independence and licensing.
