Theroles and responsibilities of the Company Security Manager are as follows:
Report to Head Corporate Security to ensure Industrial Security compliance for the Business Unit in the areas of Physical, Information, Personnel and Document Security according to policies and SOPs.
Help build a security culture by educating and inculcating into all staff a sense of security awareness to meet security compliance in accordance with both the company’s security SOPs and MINDEF Security Department’s (MSD) policies through regular briefing, training, and broadcast.
Ensure security compliance through the conduct of both scheduled internal audits and ad-hoc spot-checks in partnership with the Corporate Security team and also to front all external audits by MSD.
Perform continuous improvement through new security initiatives or enhancement of existing security measures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate security governance, risk, and compliance management.
Demonstrate leadership and management on security-related issues and incidents within the organization and collaborating with key stakeholders (MINDEF Military Security Department and Singapore Police Force Arms and Explosive Department, amongst others) on the implementation of security standards and policies.
Strong personnel management and the ability to brief senior-level executives is critical to the success of this role.
Familiar with regulatory requirements and security policies from MINDEF MSD and SPF Arms and Explosives departments.
Prior experience in physical security is essential.
Well-developed written and oral communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates with knowledge in IT and network security would be an added advantage.
