UBS AG is seeking a detail-oriented Security Incident Manager to lead the handling of security incidents across the region, ensuring effective management and compliance. The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and over 5 years of experience in information security to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment.
Your role :
• We are seeking a detail-oriented Security Incident Manager to join our team as a regional lead to address security incidents from the point they are reported, through to a full conclusion, including a post-incident review.
• As a Regional Lead, you will play a key role in identifying, escalating, and leading cross-functional task forces to address security incidents with the potential for material impact, collaborating with other subject matter experts.
• You will also be responsible for the ongoing oversight of incidents, allocation of incidents to team members, support, and relationship management with senior management and other critical functions for the management or awareness of security incidents within the region.
Your team :
You’ll be working in the Chief Information Security Office, within the Security Incident team, which provides a group-wide service to all divisions in managing incidents.
Our role is to ensure security incidents are managed properly end-to-end, in an efficient and fully compliant way, meeting all internal and external notification requirements.
Your expertise :
- A university degree, ideally in computer science or a similar field, or Information Security professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC certifications).
- 5+ years of experience in information security, risk management, cybersecurity, or digital forensics.
- Strong leadership skills to coordinate actions across multiple functions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to summarize incidents and convey critical messages to stakeholders of all levels, subject matter experts, and external parties including vendors, regulators, and law enforcement.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize incidents and tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail to address incidents effectively.
- Ability to analyze and understand processes and significant amounts of information.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization.
