A leading private club in Singapore is looking for a Security Operations Supervisor to oversee security operations, manage teams, and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience in the security industry and be proficient in incident management and security systems. Strong leadership skills are essential in this role, alongside a valid Security Officer Licence.
The role supports the Security Manager and Head of Security in overseeing daily security operations, ensuring compliance with the protocols, and maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff. This role requires leadership, operational flexibility, and proficiency in incident management and security systems.
Operational Supervision
Assist the Security Manager in supervising a team of security personnel, ensuring effective task execution.
Plan duty rosters, conduct daily pre-shift briefings, and document briefings for accountability.
Lead and coordinate daily operations, including shift scheduling and task assignments.
Perform static post duties or roving patrols during officer shortfalls.
Incident Management
Respond to security incidents, document findings, and escalate to the Security Manager as required.
Demonstrate competence in managing incidents effectively, assuming leadership in the absence of the Security Manager or Head of Security.
Assist in executing emergency/evacuation plans and liaise with relevant authorities when necessary.
Prepare incident reports and compile daily/monthly security reports.
Training and Development
Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) for new security staff, providing guidance and orientation.
Support training on PWM-required WSQ modules (e.g., Handle Security Incidents and Services).
Ensure team compliance with licensing standards and club protocols.
Security Systems and Inventory
Oversee the Fire Command Centre and Main Guardhouse operations.
Conduct inventory checks on CCTV recordings, Visitor Management System (VMS), carpark systems, access card systems, and other accountable stocks.
Operate and maintain security systems (e.g., alarms, access controls) and support technology adoption initiatives.
Access Control and Patrols
Manage visitor and contractor processes, including issuing passes and ensuring compliance with protocols.
Conduct regular patrols and monitor CCTV systems to identify vulnerabilities and address incidents.
Administrative and Policy Support
Manage portfolios under Operations & Events, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policy, or contract maintenance.
Provide administrative support to the Security Manager and Head of Security, including documentation and related tasks.
Minimum Diploma in Security Management or a related field, GCE ‘O’ Level, NITEC, or equivalent, with proficiency in literacy and communication.
Minimum 2–3 years in the security industry, preferably as a Security Officer or Senior Security Officer, or 3–5 years with supervisory or operational coordination experience in commercial, hospitality, or high-end venues.
Must hold a valid Security Officer Licence issued by the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD).
Able to handle physical demands to conduct patrols, supervise operations, and respond to incidents.
Must pass PLRD security screening, including checks for criminal records, bankruptcy, or affiliations with prohibited organisations.
Certifications such as WSQ Advanced Certificate in Security Supervision or first aid training.
Knowledge of Singapore’s security regulations and emergency response protocols.
Experience in hospitality settings, balancing security with guest experience.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to act independently during incidents.
Proficiency in operating security systems (e.g., CCTV, access controls, alarms) and writing reports.
Effective communication and training skills to guide and develop security personnel.
Knowledge of WSQ security modules (e.g., Handle Security Incidents and Services) and compliance with Singapore’s security licensing standards.
