Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking a Security Engineer for a yearly contract renewal to safeguard our digital assets. The role requires a strong cybersecurity background and the ability to design, deploy, and maintain robust security systems.

You will work with IT and security teams to respond to incidents, manage changes, monitor systems, and implement proactive measures to strengthen our security posture. A Bachelor's degree and 1–5 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 1–5 years of IT or cybersecurity experience.
• Knowledge of AWS security tools and services.
• Hands-on with at least one listed security technology.
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to security incidents and manage alerts within SLA.
• Troubleshoot security solutions with internal teams/vendors.
• Plan and apply patch updates to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Handle change requests and service requests within SLA.
• Continuously monitor security systems and perform health checks.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve measures.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and implement proactive measures.
• Ensure compliance and maintain documentation.
