Overview

Job Title: Security Engineer (Cybersecurity | 24 months| Public Sector)

Duration: 24 months

Salary: 4000-6500

Location: Bukit Merah Central/ 1 Depot Rd

Eligibility: Only Singaporeans

Responsibilities
  • Provide advisory and guidance to application teams in their preparations for compliance verifications and audits.
  • Conduct regular compliance verifications to ensure applications meet necessary processes, standards, and controls to comply with policies.
  • Develop protocols and documentation for maintaining compliance standards.
  • Lead and manage the compliance onboarding process with application teams to ensure they meet planned schedules.
  • Work closely with engineering departments to identify areas for improvement and solve problems.
  • Develop and maintain management reporting dashboards using data analytical tools such as Power BI.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of technical and/or project management experience in IT Operations, Support, Governance, and Compliance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and facilitate collaboration between teams across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address compliance challenges and security risk issues.
  • Knowledge of government IT security policies and processes is essential.
  • Proactive in improving and streamlining processes, incorporating feedback from audits and assessments to enhance application sustainment practices.
  • Ability to prepare the organization for audits, ensuring documentation, processes, and controls align with policy and standards requirements.
  • Knowledge and technical skills in data analysis tools such as Power BI and Tableau would be an advantage.
Additional Skills
  • Strong in account / access management compliance and technically proficient in managing/understanding account setups and interfaces in Windows Active Directory Domain, RHEL Linux, PIM, PAM, Cloud AD, and AWS IAM integration.
