Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale, complex network. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, specifically in Firewall, IDS/IPS, Web Content Filtering, and Load Balancer technologies. The candidate must also have a deep understanding of networking principles and the ability to manage network security infrastructure across a global operating model.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage network security operations, particularly in DMZ environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across global networks.
• Design, implement, and manage firewall technologies (Fortinet, CheckPoint, etc.), IDS/IPS, Web Content Filtering (Bluecoat, McAfee Proxy, etc.), and Load Balancer technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues with strong knowledge of protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP, and Socks.
• Develop and maintain application and network diagrams, ensuring all critical flows and decisions are clearly represented.
• Summarize complex network security issues into clear, concise executive summaries.
• Provide leadership to teams, motivating and driving execution with a performance-driven approach.
• Conduct root cause analysis on network and security incidents and drive resolution.
• Work closely with business partners, security teams, and IT staff to address security risks and implement solutions.
• Analyze gaps, challenge others positively, and facilitate discussions to identify and remediate risks.
• Work with global teams on product deployments in a banking environment, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption.
• Assist with automation efforts, leveraging technologies like Python and Ansible to streamline network and security operations.
• Manage regulatory compliance and risk management within the technology and information security domains.
• Support and drive ITIL processes such as Change Management, Incident Management, Request Management, and Problem Management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience working with large-scale network and DMZ environments, preferably in banking and finance.
• Deep knowledge of Firewall technologies (Fortinet, CheckPoint, etc.) and IDS/IPS systems.
• Expertise in Web Content Filtering technologies (Bluecoat, McAfee Proxy, etc.).
• Strong networking troubleshooting skills and understanding of web protocols (PAC files, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP, Socks, etc.).
• Advanced understanding of network security practices, communication principles, and network standards.
• Familiarity with automation technologies such as Python, Ansible, etc.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with business partners at the enterprise level.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing network security gaps.
• Good to have a network security such as CheckPoint/Fortinet, CCIE, CISSP, etc.
• Understanding of regulatory risk management and information security practices in a global banking environment.
• Ability to work irregular hours, as required by the global operating model.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and next-gen products, applications, and technologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ability to apply them in managing network security services.
