Edp Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Security Coordinator in Singapore to manage and deliver operational security activities for the APAC regional HQ. The role requires coordinating complex projects, collaborating with partners, and upholding security best practices across staff, vendors and sites.

The role reports to the Regional Security Manager and works with colleagues in Singapore and other APAC locations, with some travel to ensure consistent security delivery and staff training.

SECURITY COORDINATOR SINGAPORE

Role Overview

Our client is a truly global business and is one of the world’s most recognisable social media and technology companies. EDP provides the client with embedded corporate security support within the APAC region and we are looking to expand our team by appointing a person specialising in the effective management and delivery of operational security activities at the client's APAC regional headquarters in Singapore.

The Security Coordinator will utilize project management and contract management skills to accomplish activities that will continually improve security services and raise awareness of Global Security and security best practice among our client’s employees, vendors and contingent staff in all locations in Singapore. The Security Coordinator can take initiative and work with minimal direction. This role also requires cross-group collaboration, high-level communication skills and the ability to present effectively to all levels of audiences.

The Security Coordinator will work within a team of security professionals and other non security stakeholders who collectively and individually ensure the safety and security of persons, assets and venues associated with our client.

The person will be responsible for the effective delivery of security solutions toensure that security strategies are effectively implemented and will report to the Regional Security Manager.

This role will be located in the client’s Singapore office, but will involve working alongside colleagues based in Singapore and elsewhere within the region. Some travel outside of Singapore may be required in the role in order to ensure consistency of the delivery of security management systems across the client's APAC activities and sites.
