Security Consulting (FS Lead)

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security FS Lead to drive our cybersecurity strategy and execution within the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cyber security, a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and a proven track record in leading complex security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Strategy:
   1. Develop and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies tailored to the financial services industry.
   2. Lead and manage cybersecurity teams, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
   3. Provide thought leadership on emerging security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
2. Client Engagement:
   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering high-value security solutions and insights.
   2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in client organizations.
   3. Lead client presentations, workshops, and meetings to communicate security strategies and solutions effectively.
3. Project Management:
   1. Oversee the delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
   2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address complex security challenges and requirements.
   3. Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
4. Technical Expertise:
   1. Provide expertise in security architecture, threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response.
   2. Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies relevant to financial services.
   3. Implement and monitor security controls, frameworks, and compliance standards specific to the financial sector.
5. Innovation & Improvement:
   1. Drive innovation in cybersecurity solutions and methodologies to address evolving threats and industry needs.
   2. Continuously assess and enhance security practices and tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
   3. Contribute to the development of new service offerings and capabilities within the cybersecurity domain.

Qualifications:

1. Experience:
   1. Extensive experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on the financial services sector.
   2. Proven experience in leading large-scale security projects and teams.
   3. Strong understanding of financial industry regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX).
2. Skills:
   1. Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and technologies.
   2. Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
   3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
3. Education:
   1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
