Amazon AWS is seeking an experienced Security Consulting professional to help customers and partners develop cloud security expertise and capabilities. You will lead security workstreams, design secure AWS solutions, mentor teams, and collaborate with partners on key engagements.

Our consultants deliver security advice, architecture guidance, and security engineering; lead proof-of-concept projects; and deliver customer engagements. AWS consultants collaborate with customers to address security risk, achieve security outcomes, and implement and migrate customer solutions and workloads to the cloud. AWS consultants also have a drive to continue to learn and improve, including coaching and mentoring others.
This role specialises in all aspects of information and cyber security management, as well as business and regulatory compliance using cloud services in large-scale computing environments.
Act as the technical leader for customer engagements, particularly the security workstreams, leading teams of consultants.
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
Lead internal security initiatives that deliver quantifiable impact, and develop strategic relationships with internal and external security leaders.
Enable and engage delivery partners to support secure project delivery and drive adoption of security best practices.
Provide mentorship and coaching to develop others in cloud security, compliance, and risk management.
You’ll work with colleagues, customers, and partners to design, develop, and implement security solutions that solve real-world problems. You’ll have full access to all of AWS’s infrastructure and agentic AI tools. You’ll spend your days innovating, building, and deploying industry-leading technology.

Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
5+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience
5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience, or Bachelor's degree
4+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
2+ years of hands-on infrastructure, troubleshooting, systems administration, networking, DevOps or applications development experience
Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands‑on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
Knowledge of and experience with cloud infrastructure technologies
Experience in web security, or experience in Kubernetes, Docker or containers ecosystem and experience with threat modeling and penetration testing
