Job summary

CITIC Telecom International CPC Limited is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to engage with customers, identify IT security challenges, and design tailored security solutions. You will lead PoCs, prepare proposals, and coordinate with partners to close deals.

You will stay current with industry trends, support service delivery, and provide market insights to the product team. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related security field.
• Minimum 5 years in information security.
• Professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 are a plus.
• Experience with Linux, UNIX, and Windows server setups.
• Knowledge of IAM, PKI, SIEM, SOAR, SOC operations, NTA, DLP, EDR.

Job description

• Understand Customer Needs: Engage with customers to identify their IT challenges and security requirements, providing tailored security advisory services and designing effective security solutions.
• Prepare Sales Materials: Develop compelling proposals, statements of work, presentations, and training materials to support pre-sales activities.
• Manage Supplier Quotations: Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for the Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring accurate product descriptions and pricing for customer quotations.
• Collaborate with Partners: Liaise with third-party suppliers and business partners to facilitate sales processes and help close deals.
• Conduct Proof-of-Concepts: Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) exercises to showcase the value of our cybersecurity solutions to clients.
• Stay Informed: Continuously update knowledge of our security solution offerings, industry products/services, and the latest technological trends.
• Support Service Delivery: Collaborate with the Security Services Delivery team and Customer Services to ensure seamless service provisioning.
• Provide Market Insights: Offer valuable insights and feedback to the product team based on market trends and pre-sales experiences to inform product development.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subjects in information security or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years’ working experience in information security areas
• Professional qualifications in information security such as CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 is a plus
• Experience in setting up and installing software on LINUX, UNIX and Windows platforms
• Knowledge in information security services and products, including but not limited to IAM, PAM, PKI, SIEM, SOAR, SOC Operations, NTA, DLP, EDR, BAS, ASM, Application & Network security, SSE etc.
• Strong communication skills; Good command of oral and written English and Chinese
• Creative and critical thinking; Willing to take challenges and enjoy meeting with people
• This position may require occasional travel depending on the customer engagement
• Experienced candidate will be considered as Senior Security Consultant
