Job summary

Tradeweb, a global leader in electronic trading, seeks a Cyber Security Architect to join the information security team. You will lead security architecture initiatives, drive risk-aware decision making, and collaborate with product, infrastructure, and risk teams across regions to ensure secure design and resilient systems.

The role requires deep expertise in information security, threat modeling, and regulatory compliance, with a track record of guiding complex security reviews and remediation

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security
• Experience as security architect or partner
• Strong knowledge of security patterns and controls
• Experience with threat modeling methodologies
• Cross-regional collaboration experience
• Experience in secure code reviews
• Knowledge of GDPR, RegSCI or similar
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS, ISO standards
• FinTech or financial services experience preferred
• Vendor certifications (ISA, SANS, CompTIA, eLearnSecurity) a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership as a security thought leader for a line of business
• Influence security architecture in product strategy and roadmap
• Promote secure design and architecture patterns across the organization
• Drive cyber risk decisions and foster a risk-aware culture
• Perform end-to-end security architecture reviews
• Prioritize remediation of security vulnerabilities in apps and systems
• Assist teams in developing remediation strategies for code and system vulnerabilities
• Develop security blueprints and assertion templates
• Maintain deep business knowledge of Tradeweb
• Build relationships with tech, risk and compliance teams
• Interface with regulators, audits and clients to explain risks and controls
• Support cross-regional business operations
