Role Purpose:

  • Monitor and analyze network and system activity.

  • Investigate and respond to security incidents.

  • Escalate security incidents and alerts.

  • Install and configure security software and hardware.

  • Facilitate security audits and assessments by third-party security assessors.

  • Support the implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Conduct security research and stay updated on the latest threats and trends.

  • Provide security guidance and advice to staff and stakeholders.

  • Conduct security awareness and training programs.

  • Prepare and maintain security reports and documentation.

  • Support disaster recovery and security breach drills.

Requirements

  • Diploma in computer science, information security, or related field, or relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an information security analyst or similar role.

  • Proficient in security tools and technologies such as CIS hardening, Tenable Nessus, Anti-Malware, DLP, EDR, SIEM, encryption.

  • Good knowledge of incident response lifecycle, various operating systems, TCP/IP networking, and application layers.

  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards like ISO 27001, NIST; familiarity with IM8 is a plus.

  • Experience in penetration testing (application/infrastructure), vulnerability scanning, and system security acceptance testing.

  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with automation tools for security testing.

  • Ability to identify and mitigate security threats and risks.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
