PTC SYSTEM (S) PTE LTD is seeking a proactive Security Administrator to support cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, access control, and security monitoring across on-premises and cloud environments in Singapore. The role requires collaboration with infrastructure, service delivery, and operations teams to protect critical systems and data.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field.
  • 2–3 years of cybersecurity/security operations experience.
  • Experience in MSP/SOC/NOC or enterprise IT environment preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation (or higher) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts, events, and logs from various security platforms.
  • Investigate and triage suspicious activities, security alerts, and incidents.
  • Support incident response, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review activities.
  • Escalate critical security incidents to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain incident records and ensure timely communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
  • Administer endpoint security solutions, antivirus, EDR/XDR platforms, and security monitoring tools.
  • Manage certificate lifecycle, SSL certificates, and cryptographic key rotation activities.
  • Maintain security baselines and hardening standards for systems and servers.
  • Review firewall, VPN, and network security configurations.
  • Support security configuration compliance and audit requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, compliance assessments, and security reviews.
  • Maintain security policies, procedures, standards, and operational documentation.
  • Prepare audit evidence, compliance reports, and risk assessment documentation.
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or Cyber Essentials.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support cybersecurity awareness and user training programs.
  • Promote cybersecurity best practices across the organization.
  • Assist with phishing simulations and security education initiatives.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SecurityAdministrator to support the organization's cybersecurity operations,security monitoring, vulnerability management, and access control functions.The role is responsible for maintaining the security posture of ITinfrastructure, cloud platforms, servers, networks, and applications byimplementing security controls, monitoring threats, responding to securityincidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatoryrequirements.

The successful candidate will work closely withinfrastructure, service delivery, and operations teams to protect criticalbusiness systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor security alerts, events, and logs from various security platforms.
  • Investigate and triage suspicious activities, security alerts, and incidents.
  • Support incident response, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review activities.
  • Escalate critical security incidents to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain incident records and ensure timely communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
Vulnerability & Patch Management
  • Conduct vulnerability scanning and security assessments across servers, endpoints, network devices, and cloud environments.
  • Analyze vulnerability reports and prioritize remediation activities based on risk.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Track vulnerability closure and ensure compliance with remediation SLAs.
  • Monitor security advisories, zero-day vulnerabilities, and emerging cyber threats.
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Manage user access requests, account provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning.
  • Perform periodic user access reviews and entitlement recertification.
  • Enforce least-privilege and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) principles.
  • Support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls.
  • Monitor privileged account activities and investigate access violations.
Security Administration
  • Administer endpoint security solutions, antivirus, EDR/XDR platforms, email security, and security monitoring tools.

Requirements
Education

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Experience

At least 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, system administration, or IT infrastructure support.

Experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP), Security Operations Centre (SOC), Network Operations Centre (NOC), or enterprise IT environment is preferred.

Minimum Certification Requirements

ITIL Foundation (or equivalent or higher).
