Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is seeking an Assurance Solutions Architect to help expand the Security Assurance practice. You will engage with customers to translate risk and compliance requirements into scalable security solutions in the AWS environment.

This hands-on, customer-facing role requires collaboration across engineering, support, and business teams, ability to travel to sites, and strong expertise in standards like PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and privacy regimes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• 4+ years experience advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, NIST frameworks, and privacy requirements such as PDPA, PIPA etc.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Cloud Technology Certification (Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering), or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP
• Experience in performing security assessments and information system audits of network, operating systems, application security, as well as auditing IT processes
• Fluency with generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools and applying responsible AI practices to augment productivity and quality
• Proficiency in Korean/Japanese language is required as the role involves liaising with Korean/Japanese-speaking clients who predominantly communicate in Korean/Japanese language.

Responsibilities

• Expertise – Delivers in teams that include Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs
• Solutions – Work with a team to define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to customers that help the customer understand how to move sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster.
• Delivery – Engagements will require working to resolve security assurance questions and to understand how to manage risk and achieve compliance while operating in the AWS Cloud through deep dive discussions, strategic presentations/recommendations, and hands on demonstrations of automating compliance in the AWS environment.
• Insights – Work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
