Job Description

Job Purpose: Provide support for significant environmental issues, and facilitate environmental management processes for the Chlor-Alkali and VFY Business-India to ensure operations comply with regulations and to guide units in process improvements.

Key Result Areas

1. Environment Management: Develop and implement Environment Management System aligned with ABG policies, assist units in compliance, conduct audits, and support project integration.
2. Water Management: Monitor water usage, promote reduction strategies, support Zero Liquid Discharge systems, and research alternative water sources.
3. Waste Management: Oversee waste reduction, segregation, disposal, and co-processing initiatives, ensuring compliance with waste management rules.
4. Air Pollution Control: Analyze and report air pollutant data, ensure control systems are effective, and support improvements based on monitoring data.
5. Sustainability Practices: Implement sustainability standards, facilitate best practices, develop environment dashboards, and analyze data for improvements.
