ATOP Academy invites a dedicated Mathematics tutor to deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE secondary syllabus. You will assess learning needs, tailor lesson plans, and teach Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Probability, guiding students in applying methods and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication with parents and a commitment to academic excellence are valued. Experience in Elementary/Additional Mathematics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant teaching qualification (Education/Mathematics).
• Solid knowledge of secondary-level maths concepts and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Singapore MOE Secondary Mathematics syllabus and assessments.
• Ability to teach Elementary Mathematics and/or Additional Mathematics is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE secondary syllabus.

• Teach mathematical concepts in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and probability.

• Mark assignments, monitor student progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for school assessments and national examinations.
• Develop students’ confidence, accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Create a positive, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ academic progress.
• Develop teaching resources, lesson materials, and classroom activities.

Requirements

• GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of secondary-level mathematical concepts and problem-solving methods.
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Secondary Mathematics syllabus and assessment requirements.
• Ability to teach Elementary Mathematics and/or Additional Mathematics is preferred.
• Passion for teaching and supporting secondary school students.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Responsible, patient, enthusiastic, and committed to student success.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage but not required.
