Job description

1. Shipment Coordination

  • Organize and manage the export of goods via ocean freight.

  • Book cargo space with co-loaders, carriers and shipping lines.

  • Prepare shipping documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List).

  • Coordinate with shippers, consignees, and third-party vendors (freight forwarders, customs brokers).

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and Incoterms.

2. Customer Service

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding export shipments.

  • Provide shipment status updates and resolve any issues that arise.

  • Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

3. Coordination with Internal Departments

  • Liaise with the sales, operations, and finance departments.

  • Provide shipment cost estimates and quotations when needed.

4. Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor shipment progress and keep customers informed of any delays.

  • Track container movements.
