As Immunology Medical Lead, you will shape the non-promotional medical and scientific strategy for the Immunology portfolio across the SE Asia & India MCO. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep expertise in Immunology and the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team across multiple geographies.

Main Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Define and execute the SE Asia & India MCO Immunology Medical Roadmap, integrated Medical Action Plan, and Evidence Generation Plan.
  • Provide scientific and medical leadership in Immunology, ensuring strategies are rooted in deep therapeutic expertise.
  • Align office-based and field-based medical activities across the region with global and country priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver franchise goals and inform business development opportunities.
  • Lead input into evidence generation planning, with focus on Immunology-specific needs in both peri-launch and lifecycle stages.

People Leadership

  • Lead and grow the SE Asia & India Immunology Medical team, fostering an agile, collaborative, and innovative culture.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline by attracting, developing, and retaining top medical professionals.
  • Serve as a role model for Sanofi’s culture, mentoring team members and providing clear expectations, coaching, and feedback.
  • Promote an inclusive team environment that values diversity, scientific excellence, and cross-country collaboration.

External Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with HCPs, academic institutions, and professional societies in Immunology.
  • Lead advisory boards and expert collaborations to generate impactful scientific insights.
  • Act as a high-level Immunology expert representing Sanofi in scientific education and external engagement.

Data Generation & Medical Operations

  • Oversee Sanofi-sponsored studies and support investigator-initiated studies in Immunology.
  • Ensure scientific and medical excellence in communication, training, and internal stakeholder support.
  • Manage the franchise budget to deliver efficient and impactful medical operations.
About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Doctorate-level education: MD strongly preferred; PhD or PharmD considered.
  • Proven in-depth expertise in Immunology (clinical, academic, or industry experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience leading and managing a team within a regional or multi-country medical or scientific function.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Medical Affairs, with strong Immunology therapeutic area focus in SE Asia & India.
  • Ability to travel 20–30%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recognized expert in Immunology or related fields such as Dermatology or Respiratory.
  • Academic/research experience in Immunology and deep understanding of patient/HCP journeys.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems across SE Asia & India.
