Source and procure ocean freight services mainly for export lanes (FCL, LCL, breakbulk, etc.).
Negotiate freight rates, terms, and service levels with shipping lines and NVOCCs.
Manage RFQs/RFIs and tendering processes for ocean transportation.
Analyze freight spend, market trends, and carrier performance to drive cost savings and efficiency.
Maintain and update ocean freight rate agreements and service contracts.
Monitor key trade lanes and advise on routing, transit times, and space availability.
Support digitalization and automation initiatives in freight procurement processes.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management and at least 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding procurement (FCL/LCL/RORO).
Experience in tariff management and tender management.
Worked with any shipping lines or freight forwarders on freight-related jobs.
