The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with a Global logistics and freight forwarding company. We are looking for an Ocean Operation Executive (Permit Declaration) to join the team!

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate should possess experience in providing either import or export support for ocean freight operations, particularly in shipping documentation and permit processing.

  • Permanent, Full-time opportunity
  • Location: East region, Changi South Street (Expo)
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • Salary Package: up to $3800 basic + AWS + VB

The Job

  • Attend to email correspondence with customers & overseas agents.
  • Coordinating and planning the arrival schedules of Ocean freight shipments to ensure efficient processing and delivery.
  • Monitoring and tracking the status of incoming shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition.
  • Working closely with Carrier, Coloader and ground handling agents or freight forwarder to manage sailing schedules, cargo space allocation, and any issues related to outbound / inbound shipment.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and processing all necessary export documentation, including Arrival notice, Bill of landing, commercial invoices, packing lists, permit and certificates of origin.
  • Addressing and resolving any customs-related issues, such as classification disputes or valuation problems, that could delay the release of goods.


The Talent

  • Must have knowledge in permit declaration.
  • With at least 2 years of ocean operations experiences in logistics/freight forwarding industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
