The Responsibilities
Management Role
Manage top line and bottom line of the SeaFreight department
Continuous improvement in the annual KPI for customer satisfaction survey
Improve in productivity by capitalizing and maximizing the use of the FMS
Analyze and propose cost reduction strategies
Organizing and delegating of JS/JD to department staff
Lead and supervise the Ocean operation team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Operational Role
Manage and facilitating activities involving NVOCC, sea export, sea import, triangle shipment, warehousing, trucking and resolve any operational-related problem.
Preparing and executing Freight Bill invoice and report
Generate report requested by Customers.
Analyse data and provide report as and when required by Management.
Attend meetings/site viewings with Customers
Arranging and coordinating with Declarator and Customer for applying of SICC-COO
Be the Bridge between inter departments
Arranging for department meeting once a month or as and when needed.
Troubleshooting and solving of shipment problems
Handling of Project Shipment.
The Requirements
Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5 years experience in sea operations within the freight forwarding industry.
Strong understanding of sea export, sea import, warehousing, and trucking operations.
In-depth knowledge of customs requirements, import and export procedures, and international trade regulations.
Proficiency in tracking and monitoring vessel movements.
