As a Scrum Master Specialist at Gainwell, you will play a crucial role in our mission to utilize technology to enhance the health and well-being of our clients" members, particularly the most vulnerable individuals in the community. By joining our team, you will collaborate with like-minded individuals who are dedicated to devising innovative solutions for the significant challenges faced in the healthcare industry. Below are the key responsibilities associated with this position:- Provide collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching to support the Scrum Team and the Scrum process.- Facilitate various meetings including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, feedback sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.- Coach the Scrum Team on the importance of clear and concise Backlog items.- Assist the team in creating high-value products and manage defect triage while supporting the Product Owner in prioritization.- Coordinate dependencies and collaborate with other teams via Nexus scrums, ensuring effective decision-making and alignment.- Demonstrate a Lean-Agile Mindset through Servant Leadership, guiding the organization in its Scrum adoption.- Advocate for and coach others on the Agile software development methodology.- Support initiatives that enhance the productivity of the Scrum Team by anticipating challenges, identifying risks, and proposing solutions.- Remove impediments that hinder team progress and foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:- Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.- Possess 9-14 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master with a strong understanding of Agile values and principles.- Demonstrate expertise in agile methodologies, values, and procedures, as well as the software development lifecycle.- Collaborate effectively with Product Owners to grasp key business objectives, develop backlog, and prioritize stories.- Mentor team members on agile practices, facilitate team formation, and optimize work alignment.- Track team performance metrics, promote a high-performing Agile culture, and resolve conflicts positively.- Preferably have experience in the healthcare domain, specifically Medicaid, and be available to start promptly.Desired Skills:- Deep understanding of Agile, SAFe/Nexus Principles, and their application in workplace culture.- Ability to guide agile teams in sprint activities, remove obstacles, and ensure optimal work alignment.- Proven track record in fostering a high-performing Agile culture and facilitating the establishment of new Agile teams.In this role, you can expect to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment that promotes a healthy work-life balance.,
