Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Scrum Master / Project Manager to coordinate multiple hardware-focused projects across electronics, optics, mechanics and software in Singapore. This role involves leading Scrum ceremonies and ensuring on-time delivery of prototypes as the team moves from R&D to commercialization.

The successful candidate will have experience in agile environments, strong planning and the ability to work with cross-disciplinary engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager or Technical Project Manager within a technical engineering environment.
• Strong experience managing hardware development projects.
• Good understanding of software development and experience working with software teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent planning, organisation and documentation skills.
• Able to understand technical discussions across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Experience with QKD and/or quantum communications is highly desirable.
• Experience taking R&D projects through prototype development and towards commercialisation is advantageous.
• CSM or equivalent certification is desirable, but practical experience is more important.

I am working with an innovative deep-tech company developing quantum communications hardware for secure communications applications. Following successful lab demonstrations, the team is now moving into prototype development, with longer-term plans for commercialisation.
