Our mission is to transform entertainment by making audio series mainstream, uniting communities on a massive internet-scale platform.Role Description:Pocket FM is in search of a Telugu Content Quality Specialist to join our Content Quality team. As part of this role, you will take on the responsibility of reviewing Tamil-dubbed versions of shows and movies, originally in Hindi or foreign languages, to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural authenticity, and emotional resonance.Your main task will be to guarantee that the Tamil dialogues are natural-sounding, emotionally impactful, and culturally appropriate, ensuring an engaging experience for our Tamil-speaking audience.Responsibilities:- Watch and listen to Telugu-dubbed content (TV shows, web series, films, etc.).- Conduct quality checks on the Telugu version focusing on tone, language, and cultural relevance.- Identify and propose improvements for awkward translations, emotional mismatches, grammatical errors, and cultural insensitivities.- Offer rewritten dialogue options with timestamps for revisions.- Collaborate with dubbing studios, translators, and internal teams to maintain consistency and high quality.- Review post-feedback content to confirm proper implementation of corrections.Qualifications:- Native-level fluency in Telugu (reading, writing, and listening).- Proficiency in English and/or Hindi for comparison with source content.- 2+ years of experience in Telugu content writing, dubbing, subtitling, or adaptation.- In-depth understanding of Telugu cultural nuances, colloquialisms, and audience preferences.- Strong editorial and storytelling instincts with a focus on emotional tone and pacing.- Ability to meet deadlines, multitask across projects, and give/receive constructive feedback.- Prior experience with OTT platforms, film, or television content is a plus.Additional Skills (Preferred):- Experience in voice direction or dubbing coordination.- Familiarity with subtitle/script QC tools.- Understanding of screenplay structure or serialized storytelling.- Working knowledge of Hindi.Explore more about us and discover the workings behind the scenes at Pocket FM: [https://xtra.pocketfm.com/](https://xtra.pocketfm.com/),
