Job Description

The project is related to exploration and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the design, analysis, discovery, and validation of new ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials for high-performance energy conversion or signal transmission functions. The materials include ferroelectric and piezoelectric single crystals and thin films used to produce competitive MEMS devices and ultrasonic transducers. The job scope covers designing, growing, evaluating, and analyzing these materials, generating a related database for AI implementation, and validating and demonstrating the results.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in physics, material science, engineering, or a bachelor/master degree holder with expertise and skills related to data science (Scientist or Engineer position).
• Passion for creating new ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials or applying AI in analyzing and discovering such materials.
• Experience in R&D in areas such as ferroelectric and piezoelectric characterization and analysis, data science or machine learning for design and validation of new materials, growth of piezoelectric single crystals or solid-state crystal growth, and fabrication of ferroelectric thin films and ceramics.
• Strong track record in technical publication, high performance record in a university, or verifiable experience in the relevant areas.
