Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Science Laboratory Support Officer for a secondary school in Dakota. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe laboratory and assisting with preparation for practical lessons.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00am–4:00pm (including a 30-minute lunch break), totaling about 30 hours per week. The contract runs January 2027 to December 2027, with an option to extend, emphasizing safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supporting operational duties, preferably in a school environment.
• Prior cleaning experience in a science laboratory is an advantage.
• Able to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
• Meticulous and responsible, with good attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Able to handle laboratory equipment and materials carefully under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain laboratory and preparation room floors, benches, sinks and waste bins.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and manage designated waste containers.
• Wash and clean laboratory glassware and equipment under supervision.
• Assist with preparing experimental setups, chemicals, solutions and materials according to instructions.
• Distribute and replenish equipment and materials during practical lessons.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Salary: $12/hour (approximately $1,560/month)

Contract Duration: 1 year, with option to extend for another year

Contract Period: January 2027 - December 2027

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00am-4:00pm, inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break.

Working Days: Monday-Friday

Total Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week, including lunch breaks (27.5 working hours excluding lunch breaks).
