Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. seeks an enthusiastic Education Support Assistant to assist in teaching and learning activities in primary science.

You will set up science laboratories and makerspace, prepare learning resources, and maintain stocked materials for daily activities. You will organise storage, assist in purchasing learning materials, and help keep two science rooms and a makerspace clean. Qualifications

• Able to properly handle primary science laboratory apparatus.
• Organised and attentive to details.
• Able to multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Prior working experience in science laboratories and/or primary school environment and/or equivalent environments, preferably with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Able to access and use Google Sheets to check weekly laboratory schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing resources for teaching & learning activities.
• Set up science laboratory / makerspace before activity and clear up after activity.
• Organise the storage of learning materials (e.g. apparatus, equipment, printed resources, perishables).
• Ensure learning materials are well maintained and well-stocked (includes simple cleaning, drying, stock-taking).
• Assist in purchasing learning materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of two science rooms and one makerspace room.
• Assist in any other teaching & learning related duties as assigned by Teacher-in-charge, Level Head or Head of Department.
