Role
This is a full-time, onsite, Science Lab Technician role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected,
You will work closely with HOD/LH-Science and/or Admin Manager in an MOEPrimary School (nearest MRT- Pioneer) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities
- To assist in preparing materials and apparatus for teachers/students before the
scheduled science lessons and activities.
- To maintain cleanliness of the science resources/ apparatus/ equipment, science rooms and school garden.
- To organise the storage of the resources/apparatus/equipment, chemicals and
materials in the relevant cabinets or storage spaces for easy accessibility.
- To assist HOD Science in accounting the inventory of the apparatus, equipment,
chemicals and relevant science materials in the science rooms.
- To assist science teachers in the purchase of resources & relevant
equipment/apparatus/materials for Science curriculum and programmes.
- To maintain and work with vendors in carrying out maintenance work for areas of the school garden which are under the management of the Science department. (E.g. to ensure fertilizer/water is added to hydroponics set-ups and school gardens under the Science department.)
- To provide manpower support in science lessons, science-related programmes and other school-wide programmes/ events when necessary.

Job Requirements
- At least N levels/ O levels / NITEC
- Preferably have at least 2 years’ experience as a science lab technician in a primary school.
- Proficient in the use of email, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides and Microsoft Office.
- Must have valid First Aid with CPR and AED certification or other equivalent
certification.
- Proactive and has initiative.
- Able to work both independently and as a team player.
- Able to multi-task and prioritise tasks of varying urgency
Summary
Contract Period: From 01 February 2026 to 31 January 2027
Working Hours
- Mondays and Wednesdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7.30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7:30am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

earlier/later timings (school will inform personnel in advance)
