Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Support Assistant to keep the laboratory safe, clean, and well‑organized. You will ensure equipment and specimens are in good condition and assist science teachers with lesson preparation and post‑lesson cleanup.

Responsibilities include inspecting Bunsen burners and high‑risk items, maintaining a stock log, replenishing first aid supplies, and reporting faults promptly to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least one year of working experience.
• Basic digital literacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy laboratory environment; ensure apparatus, equipment, materials, and specimens are in good working condition.
• Report faulty equipment to supervisor and display "Out of Order" signs until fixed.
• Ensure proper disposal of broken glassware and breakages per safety procedures.
• Inspect Bunsen burners and high-risk items; secure after use.
• Maintain stock book and breakage log; highlight items for replacement.
• Check and replenish first aid supplies regularly.
• Assist science teachers with lesson prep and post-lesson cleanup.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Science HOD.

Job description

Working hour

• Mon & Wed: 8 am to 1.30 pm


• Fri: 8 am to 2.30pm

Key Roles

• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy laboratory environment; ensure apparatus, equipment, materials, and specimens are in good working condition


• Report faulty machines/equipment to supervisor and display \"Out of Order\" signs until rectified


• Ensure proper disposal of broken glassware and breakages per safety procedures


• Conduct regular inspection of Bunsen burners and high-risk items (data loggers, microscopes); secure under lock and key after use


• Maintain up-to-date stock book and breakage record; highlight items for replacement


• Check and replenish first aid supplies at regular intervals


• Assist Science teachers in lesson preparation and post-lesson clearing of equipment/apparatus


• Any other duties assigned by the Science HOD
