Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a Lab Assistant at Clementi on a 1-year contract. The role involves supporting science lessons and laboratory activities, preparing materials and assisting with clean-up to maintain a safe and organized learning environment.

You will maintain and manage laboratory equipment, materials, and records, including stock-take and replacement orders, while ensuring safety devices and equipment are in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Assist with science lessons, laboratory activities, enrichment programmes and competitions by preparing materials and assisting with clean-up.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage laboratory equipment, materials and records, including stock-take, labelling and replacement orders.
• Ensure equipment, specimens and safety devices are in good working condition.
• Maintain laboratory safety and cleanliness, including proper waste disposal and housekeeping.
• Monitor student safety, record incidents and maintain the laboratory incident log.
• Manage supplies, including replenishing materials and first-aid kits.
• Handle filing, equipment cleaning and other administrative duties assigned by the HODs.
