Job description

Description

  • Manage front desk responsibilities, including handling telephone inquiries and attending to students, parents, and walk-in guests.
  • Distribute documents such as Financial Assistance Scheme letters, examination certificates, and facilitate the loan of school uniforms to students.
  • Handle and log all incoming and outgoing correspondence; route mail, parcels, and faxes appropriately to designated staff.
  • Provide support to Corporate Support Officers in various administrative tasks, including matters related to student financial aid, Secondary 1 registration, and preparation of signage.
  • Assist with the monitoring, verification, and updating of student and staff attendance records.
  • Support teachers in liaising with parents and arranging transport for student outings, among other tasks.
  • Attend to unwell students, notify parents, prepare early dismissal forms, and ensure students are safely handed over to their parents or guardians.
  • Maintain basic logs of phone calls, inquiries, and the number of students reporting sick.
  • Record and monitor printing requests for General Office tracking purposes.
  • Distribute stationery and pantry supplies as needed by staff, and help update office inventory and stock records.

Requirements :

  • Related customer service / receptionist experience in school setting
  • Proficient in IT skills – e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
  • Prior relevant working experience in a secondary school will be advantageous
