School of Sports and Health – CET Associate Lecturer[What you will be working on]
The Associate Lecturers for Sport and Exercise Science will contribute and deliver modules or courses in the following areas:
• Strength and Conditioning
• Exercise Programming and Assessment
• Sports and Exercise Prescription
[What we are looking for]
• Relevant qualification in physical education, exercise science or related disciplines.
• Professional certification in strength and conditioning
• At least 1 year of practical high-performance and/or tactical strength and conditioning industry experience; in the planning and delivery of strength and conditioning services.
• Candidates should be able to:
o coach strength and conditioning
o conduct fitness assessment
o demonstrate strength and conditioning exercises and drills
o plan periodised exercise prescription
• Self-driven team-players with growth mindset who:
o independently lead and inspire learners
o complete duties to team standards in a timely manner
o pay attention to detail
o have good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
o proficient with Microsoft Office, administrative tasks and mark academic assessment.
• Able to commit to at least 2 weekdays, and/or night/weekend classes during course runs.
