What the role is:

School of Hospitality - Deputy Manager/Manager (Continuing Education & Training)

What you will be working on:

• Act as the central link among students, academic teams, academic managers, internal departments and external agencies to administer all School of Hospitality (SOH) Continuing Education & Training (CET) matters and programmes.

• Follow up on billing of students and corporate companies after course confirmation and any outstanding payments.

• Provide administrative support on the funding and disbursement of government training grants.

• Manage students records and database including attendance records.

• Provide administrative support e.g. planning of class schedules, venue booking, course notes printing, ordering of tea breaks etc.

• Provide marketing administrative support, including updates of marketing collaterals, website management and updating and managing public queries.

• Support marketing activities, social media publicity, events, exhibitions, etc.

• Gather and analyse information on market demand and emerging trends in adult learning and corporate training.

• Collate and analyse data for reporting to stakeholders.

• Manage internal & external stakeholders communications.

• Handling other ad-hoc activities/projects whenever assigned.

What we are looking for:

• Qualifications in Human Resource Development, Business Administration or related fields.

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the adult learning, education and training fields.

• Have data entry skills, attention to details, organized and can interact in a professional manner with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Team player with excellent people management, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

• Experience in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Resourceful, analytical, self-confident and starter, and thrive in a demanding work environment.

• Strong understanding of various CET funding schemes would be an advantage.

• Possess good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and other developmental tools and website management would be an added advantage.
