Job summary

School of Engineering is seeking a Lecturer Engineering to educate and mentor students, develop curricula and participate in projects across Engineering, Construction, Facilities Management, and related sectors. The role involves CET delivery and potential R&D/consultancy engagements with industry partners.

The successful candidate will foster student engagement, supervise final year projects, and collaborate with schools, teachers, and universities to build strong industry links and practical

Qualifications

• Qualification in Engineering / Project Management / Construction Management / Facilities Management / Built Environment disciplines or equivalent.
• Relevant working experience in project management of engineering or built environment projects, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong industry linkages in project management and/or facilities management sectors.
• Preferably equipped with professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM) and knowledge of emerging technologies (AI in project management, digital twins, IoT-enabled facilities).
• Genuine interest and passion to share knowledge and interact with youths.
• Possess sound planning, organising and multi-tasking skills, with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility for completing assigned tasks on time.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
