Job summary

APSN LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated social worker to support students with psychosocial needs.

You will develop, implement and review individualized care plans, and collaborate with students, families and multidisciplinary teams to address social, emotional and developmental needs. You will conduct individual, family and group interventions, coordinate referrals, assess risks and maintain documentation while upholding professional ethics and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Relevant professional accreditation/registration in Social Work will be an advantage.
• Experience in casework, family work, group work or working with persons with disabilities will be an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant experience in social service, education, healthcare or community settings are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ psychosocial needs and develop, implement and review individualised case and care plans.
• Conduct individual, family and group work interventions to address students’ social, emotional and developmental needs.
• Work closely with students, parents, caregivers and multidisciplinary teams, and provide consultation, training and education where required.
• Conduct financial assessments, coordinate community resources and make appropriate referrals to external agencies.
• Identify and manage risks, including crisis and emergency situations, while maintaining accurate case documentation and supporting quality and audit requirements.
• Participate in clinical supervision, uphold professional ethics and boundaries, and engage in continuous professional development.
