Job summary

Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess, identify, and implement individualized therapy programmes at School East - 65 Pasir Ris Drive 1, Singapore 519529. You will work within a trans-disciplinary rehabilitation team to support children, adults and caregivers.

The role emphasizes developing ADLs, upper limb function, balance, sensory integration, cognition, and social skills, with ongoing evaluation and device prescriptions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council, Singapore.
• Excellent communication skills with good command of verbal and written English.
• Strong commitment and motivation to work with children, adults, and caregivers.
• Prior experience in VWO will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A team player with good organizational skills and able to multi-task.
• A heart to serve in the special needs sector.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify individual needs of clients, formulate/develop and implement appropriate individualized occupational therapy programmes.
• Evaluate and document clients' occupational therapy needs and progress at regular intervals, monitor training programmes and review its effectiveness.
• Provide occupational therapy consultation, support, and upgrade on the clients' progress and status to relevant members of the rehabilitation team, parents, and caregivers.
• Evaluate, prescribe and fabricate/purchase assistive devices as required by the clients to improve function.
• To be able to work in Trans disciplinary setup.
