Job Objectives

The jobholder will procure and ensure the availability of all kinds of aircraft spare parts and services according to internal and external customer demands. They will be fully responsible for fulfilling orders on cost, timeliness, and quality.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Ensure timely purchase order creation as per demand.
  2. Follow-up with suppliers on confirmation dates, shipment dates, and tracking goods in transit to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  3. Ensure accuracy of purchase order data, such as price, quantity, and certificates, to prevent potential future blocking points.
  4. Create daily order book overview to maintain transparency on order status and required actions.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders; participate in business reviews with suppliers when relevant.
  6. Implement corrective actions at the order level in case of issues.
  7. Keep internal and external stakeholders informed on relevant progress and changes (CRS, Planning, suppliers).
  8. Maintain all relevant information and updates in SAP and other appropriate tools.
  9. Manage return shipments to vendors.
  10. Resolve supplier discrepancies and quality issues effectively by interacting with various stakeholders.
  11. Support the accounting team in resolving blocked invoices.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma with 2 or more years of supply chain experience in a dynamic environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency with SAP and G Suite is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in supply management or purchasing operations.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Skilled in basic IT tools, especially Google tools.
  • Industry knowledge such as aircraft component manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, or spare parts distribution.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Methodical with attention to detail.
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work independently in an international setting.
