What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Customer Care and Distributor Manager within the SAPMENA Operations Zone team, based in Singapore. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of L'Oréal products to our valued distributors. Responsibilities include managing distributor relationships, overseeing inventory flow, optimizing logistics, controlling stock in trade, assessing and developing distributor capabilities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless product delivery and excellent customer service. Close collaboration with the commercial team and continuous improvement initiatives are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Distributor Capability Assessment & Development: Conduct regular assessments of distributor capabilities in logistics, warehousing, inventory management, sales, and marketing; develop plans to enhance performance.
  2. Strategy Mapping with Commercial Team: Collaborate to align distribution strategies with sales and marketing objectives.
  3. Create Distributor Playbook: Develop a comprehensive guide outlining key strategies, processes, and best practices for distributor management.
  4. Distributor Collaboration: Build partnership frameworks for data exchange, shared KPIs, flows, and cost-to-serve optimization.
  5. Sell In Management: Ensure smooth execution of primary sales order cycles, from replenishment to order-to-cash, in line with Supply Chain Standards.
  6. Stock in Trade Control: Implement processes for monitoring and controlling stock, including stock audits.
  7. Tool Development: Co-define, develop, and implement Distribution Management System (DMS) with Commercial and IT teams.
  8. Data Acquisition: Define data acquisition strategies with Commercial & CDAO teams.
  9. Performance Monitoring: Develop and track KPIs related to distributor performance, inventory, logistics costs, and customer satisfaction.
  10. Upskilling Initiatives: Identify training opportunities for internal teams and distributors to improve processes and service capabilities.
  11. Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to regulations and company policies regarding distribution and logistics.
Key Requirements
  1. 8-10 years of operational experience, preferably in distributor management.
