We are looking for a highly skilled, strategic and tenacious SAP Sales Lead to drive the growth of our SAP oriented business. This role will engage with customers to position Databricks for addressing customer’s SAP related data needs. This partnership is a big deal with CEO-level visibility.

Your strong sales skills and unparalleled execution will ensure SAP and Databricks capitalize on this enormous opportunity and we drive business impact and productivity to our joint customers

The impact you will have:

  • Meet with CXOs, IT/Data executives, LOB executives, Program Managers, and position the power of Datbricks and the value to be realized out of their SAP data.
  • Work with SI partners, Cloud partners, and SAP to best position customer value and approach to address customer needs
  • Influence fast moving "land and expand" sales cycles as well as larger, more complex sales cycles related to the Databricks - SAP partnership
  • Customer Obsession: Ensure 100% satisfaction among your customer base
  • You will co-develop a business plan, with your DB teams and ecosystem partners, that accelerates existing customer success, identifies and acquires new customers and enables you to exceed quarterly/annual usage and booking goals
  • You will lead Databricks Sales Teams, customers and partners to identify impactful SAP use cases while proving business value on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
  • You will support the broader SAP Databricks and data intelligence platform goals of your customers through a combination of strategic partnerships, well scoped professional services, training and targeted Executive engagement

What we look for:

  • 10+ years experience selling Software, SaaS, Cloud Sales in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on new business and managing high producing teams
  • Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer)
  • College degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, science or math
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) for both technical and executive audiences
  • Technically Knowledgeable in the open source software, big data, IoT, and / or cloud computing space.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value, interacting with both business executives and technical audiences (data scientists and engineers).
  • Possess aptitude to learn quickly and establish credibility.
  • Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, tenacious team player
  • Strong customer-facing presence (CXO, IT and Leaders) and ability to cultivate executive relationships and open doors for the field.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP solutions, including SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Data Intelligence. (preferred not required)
