Job summary

ABeam Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP MM Lead Consultant in Singapore to drive SAP MM design, configuration, and deployment for client projects. You will lead workshops, blueprinting, and solution delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires a minimum of 6 years in SAP MM, strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to work on-site with clients in the region. Knowledge of SAP SD integration is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant, including end-to-end implementation projects.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills for workshops, Q&A, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills with SAP solution explanations and workshop materials.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM, including configuration, integration, and implementation methodologies.
• Understanding of material management processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SAP SD and SD-MM integration is an advantage.

Role Overview

As the SAP MM Lead Consultant, you will act as the primary point of contact for SAP Materials Management (MM) solution delivery, driving client engagement, solution design, and implementation activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, configuration, customization, and deployment of SAP MM solutions to meet complex business requirements.
• Facilitate client workshops, issue-resolution sessions, and blueprinting activities by explaining SAP templates, gathering requirements, and providing expert guidance on best practices.
• Analyze business processes, identify client requirements, and define solution scope to support successful project delivery.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including presentations, workshop materials, process flows, and solution design documents.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and presentations to showcase SAP MM capabilities and support implementation and pre-sales activities.
• Develop demo data and validate SAP MM functions, configurations, and system processes to address business and technical issues.
• Support customers throughout the entire SAP MM implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and blueprinting through testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Stay current with SAP MM releases, enhancements, and industry best practices to provide informed recommendations and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and successful project outcomes.
• Plan, manage, and monitor project tasks, timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing business process consulting, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant, including participation in end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to explain SAP processes, lead workshops, handle Q&A sessions, and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills, including the creation of PowerPoint materials for SAP solution explanations, workshops, and issue-resolution discussions.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM, including configuration, customization, integration, and implementation methodologies, tools, and templates.
• Strong understanding of material management processes, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex business and system issues.
• Experience collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams, while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SAP SD and SD-MM integration processes (e.g., sales order to purchase order flow, goods receipt, goods issue, and billing processes) is an advantage.
• Experience in SAP implementation projects within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Flexible to work on-site and attend client meetings as required.
