As an SAP Payroll Functional Consultant, you will be responsible to configure, design, develop, implement and maintain projects; provide consultancy services; specialize on ERP products; ensure the quality of services and achieve customer satisfaction.

What will you do?

  • To provide SAP Payroll HR application maintenance support.
  • To support the complex solution to ensure that all the employees (>190K employees) are paid on time.
  • Customize payroll schemas, rules, and calculations to comply with local tax, regulatory, and legal requirements, including configuring wage types and deductions.
  • Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
  • Propose effective work-around or alternative solution, oversee the selection of solutions and estimate resources/cost required to implement the proposed solution to meet customer’s requirements
  • Manage changes to configurable items. It covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits.
  • Conduct review & integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables before handing over to users for UAT.
  • Develop technical design specification & translate design into specifications.
  • Develop test package, execute test and document test results to ensure the quality of the program.
  • Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.
  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Experience in Payroll Module (PCR, Schema, Wage Types and etc.)
  • Preferably at least 4 to 6years of experience with implementation / maintenance, consulting, pre-sales or as end-user using the above product
  • Good knowledge with hands-on experience in managing IT incidents and problems.
  • Good analytical skills with ability to quickly establish cause of system issue reported.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with others to resolve problems.
  • Ability to communicate information well to co-workers and management verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work independently as well as an excellent team player
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your work
  • Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
