Job description

As a SAP Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining projects; providing consultancy services; specializing in ERP products; ensuring the quality of services; and achieving customer satisfaction.

What will you do?
  1. Investigate all reported problems/errors, initiate amendments, and conduct testing to ensure correct and efficient system operation.
  2. Propose effective workarounds or alternative solutions, oversee the selection process, and estimate resources and costs required for implementation to meet customer requirements.
  3. Manage changes to configurable items, including configuration management planning, identification, controls, and audits.
  4. Conduct review and integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables before handover for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  5. Develop technical design specifications and translate designs into actionable plans.
  6. Create test packages, execute tests, and document results to ensure program quality.
  7. Maintain up-to-date system documentation.
  8. Ensure overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in implementation, maintenance, consulting, pre-sales, or as an end-user of the above product.
  2. Expertise in SAP HCM modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll (PY), and Benefits (BN).
  3. Good knowledge and hands-on experience in managing IT incidents and problems.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly identify causes of system issues.
  5. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively to resolve problems.
  6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with colleagues and management.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  9. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with good time-management skills.
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  11. A sense of ownership and pride in work.
  12. A degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
