Job summary

WGT Events & HR Group is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to ensure compliance in Master Data Management and support SAP S/4HANA operations. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 7 years of experience in SAP environments, working closely with business partners to enhance service delivery and performance. Proficiency in logistics and technical skills like ABAP or SAP Fiori is advantageous.

Job description

Division: Legend Logistics/BIO

Job Description:

• Ensure 100% compliance in the Enterprise Master Data Management Program, supporting BPO/Key Business Users to operate effectively on SAP S/4HANA platform, including business process modifications.
• Provide excellent Level 1 and Level 2 support (Level 2 via Application Management Service model) to monitor and deliver requests, issues, and enhancements/optimizations within agreed timelines, including configuration testing, user acceptance testing, and data migration.
• Collaborate with infrastructure leads and hosting partners to conduct periodic audits, monitor S/4HANA cloud performance, implement solutions to prevent service disruptions, and escalate critical issues to BIO/AMS partners/SAP, following through to resolution.
• Lead and collaborate with the program manager and Functional Consultants, maintaining engagement with BPO to share feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Information Technology.
• At least 7 years of experience supporting SAP end-user environments in MM/SD modules, covering materials management, purchasing, sales, logistics, and shipping within service or logistics providers.
• Proven experience as an SAP functional consultant in MM/SD and logistics fields, with leadership in Master Data Management processes within SAP, ensuring governance and timelines.
• Knowledge of ISO Tank, Container TEU freight management, or shipping is preferred.
• Experience leading at least 2 major SAP S/4HANA core enterprise implementations and regional rollouts.
• Technical skills in ABAP programming or SAP Fiori are a plus.
• Experience working with SMEs in Singapore/Malaysia adopting SAP S/4HANA, including coaching SAP functional teams and key users.
